Our Staff

All Austin’s Communication Station therapists complete an extensive clinical training program consisting of in-depth learning and continuing education in the areas of social communication strategies, emotional regulation, executive functioning, ADHD, attention, self-regulation, parent coaching, and more. __Some of the programs included in this training are continuing education on theory and strategies from Social Thinking®, Zones of Regulation®, and the works of Sarah Ward, MS, CCC-SLP (Cognitive Connections), Russell Barkley, PhD (russellbarkley.org), Seth Perler and Debbie Reber (TiLT Parenting), among many others. With the therapists extensive training and mentorship in these areas, they are able to use evidence-based therapeutic techniques to detect hidden deficits in children with a variety of diagnoses. An emphasis on continuing education, allows therapists at Austin’s Communication Station to provide innovative, holistic therapy.
